Jovian Strata

I recently picked up the Jovian Strata from Tique Toque (my wife’s gift), and I must say, I am truly impressed. The design immediately caught my attention, especially with its strong integrated-bracelet aesthetic that subtly reminds one of the Royal Oak, while still having a character of its own.

What made this watch even more special for me was the name. I have always wanted a mechanical watch with a red dial, and when I looked up the meaning behind “Jovian Strata,” it made perfect sense , the dial genuinely evokes the layered, stormy richness of Jupiter itself. The textured red dial is stunning in person and gives the watch a depth that makes it stand out instantly.

This is the kind of watch that gets noticed. I’ve already been asked several times what watch I’m wearing, and that says a lot. It is a real conversation starter.

A special thanks to Ankush for making the whole experience even more memorable. His passion for the piece comes through clearly, and I can honestly say I am not disappointed at all — quite the opposite. This watch exceeded my expectations. My mother loved it too, though the size was a little large for her wrist.

Overall, the Jovian Strata is a beautifully executed watch with a striking dial, a thoughtful identity, and a presence that feels far more special than its price might suggest.

I have been using this watch for a little over two weeks now, and here is my experience with it.

The unique dial has gotten me a fair share of compliments, perhaps even more than my more expensive Seiko and Tissot watches.

It does wears a little big on my wrist. Not small enough to be a good dress watch, but it is appropriately sized to be a good statement piece.

My biggest gripe, is the strap. It was very rigid and uncomfortable when I first got it. Although, it has softened up a bit with use, but it is still nowhere nearly as comfortable as I am used to. I'd really have preferred if it was a quick release strap, so I could just swap it with one of my many extra leather/tweed straps I have in my collection.

I think the power reserve is a little too low. It often runs out of juice when kept idle for even less than 24 hours, but since it is only the time, and not something complicated like the date or the day, or god forbid, the monophase; it is incredibly easy to set, so that issue can be ignored for now.

Given how accurate the movement is, and factoring in what people are getting at such a low price, I would recommend it. 8/10.

Honestly had a tough time choosing between 3 of your options, that’s how much I liked your designs. This one has a slightly formal vibe, yet feels modern and stylish, which really made it stand out for me. Absolutely love the dial - feels very fresh and different, without losing that classic touch.
It made for a perfect gift - loved the packaging too.
P.S. Please start a women’s range! :)

This is just amazing……..luxurious watch at unbeatable price. Got so much of compliments on very first day when I wore it. On the top of it they took extra efforts in delivering product on same day to me at no extra cost.
Watch is luxury no doubt and packaging is even more luxury, such a beautiful wooden box with travel pouch too. Hats off to the team and awaiting for more additions.
